Each camper in our Day Camp is placed in a group of, on average, twelve campers.  All campers are placed in groups according to age and grade.  Each group has two assigned counselors to assist the children in all their daily activities.

Each week, campers will participate in a teambuilding program, which includes tackling some of the 14 elements in our low-ropes course.

During the morning, each camper group will rotate through a schedule of activities that include sports, nature, and an adventure activity.  These activities may include archery, canoeing, fishing, or rock climbing.

Every afternoon, campers have an hour long session of free swim. Each camper will get an opportunity every week to engage in an Elective. They will choose from a list of activities such as: Arts and Crafts, a specialized Sport activity or Horseback Riding.  Electives give each camper an opportunity to use their voice in deciding their own unique camp experience.

PRAISE FROM OUR CAMP FAMILIES

“We are consistently thrilled with the quality of staff at PFC.  I have total confidence in the staff each year, and as a parent, that peace of mind each day is invaluable.  Their great energy and dedication brings us back each year.”

-Mother of Jr. Camper and Day Camper

“Your staff is tremendous.  They know every kid and exactly what is going on with them.  This is impressive.  [PFC] has it all together better than anything I have ever seen!”

-Father of New Jr. Camper

“We applaud you and the staff for the time and effort that so obviously goes into running this camp.  We can’t possibly measure how much confidence and satisfaction we have in sending our daughters to PFC.  That is very important to working parents.”

-Parents of Two Day Campers
