SUMMER STAFF POSITIONS
Our staff is comprised of camp professionals with experience, expertise and training in every aspect of camp life. We pride ourselves in hiring the most experienced and knowledgeable staff possible. All staff members are required to participate in an extensive training prior to the beginning of camp. The employees of CCWA work together at Paradise Farm Camps to get through challenges and change the lives of children. Situated on nearly 600 acres of rolling wooded countryside Paradise Farm Camps is a unique setting. The camp is divided into three rustic sub-camps each with cabins for campers and counselors, a central lodge, restrooms, and a dining hall nearby.
RESIDENT CAMP JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Leadership Staff Program Directors, Unit Directors and Behavioral Management Specialists supervise staff and campers in their designated area, facilitate all teambuilding and ropes course activities, assist counselors with major behavioral issues, offer advice on how to combat behavioral problems and more.
Cabin Counselors responsible for direct care to campers, supervise campers during all activities, resolve conflict, maintain a warm and happy atmosphere
Specialists Instruct campers in area of expertise in one of the following areas: Archery, Arts & Crafts, ClimbingCanoeing, Nature, Outdoor Living, Magic, Sports, Drama and more
Waterfront Director Co-ordinates the staffing supervision and safety of the aquatics program and the lifeguard staff.
Lifeguards Maintain safe practices during swim times and maintain proper operational practices
Nurse supervises all aspects of health center practices and staffing, ensures the general health of camp

Senior & Junior Counselors - supervise groups of 10-15 campers with other staff, plan activities, maintain group safety and provide an unforgettable experience for our campers

Environmental Education Program Assistant - Mid March thru November. Duties include teaching environmental education lessons, assignment as hands-on program coordinator for day and overnight programs, overseeing preparation, storage maintenance and inventory of teaching materials; development of lesson plans/program outlines. Summer assignment as EE Specialist or other program leadership role in either our residential or day camp program. | |
